Annual Meeting of the Scottish Rite Supreme Council - August 29 - 31, 2010
Philadelphia will be the site of this year's annual meeting of the Scottish Rite Supreme Council for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. The 2010 Session will be highlighted by the conferral of the Thirty-third Degree upon 163 Scottish Rite Masons who were elected for this high honor at last year's meeting in Boston. The Thirty-third Degree is awarded for outstanding achievement within the fraternity or for significant contributions to others, reflecting credit on Freemasonry. Elected Masons from New Hampshire are: Robert D. Coppo MSA – Valley of Keene, Stephen K. Bahsler MSA – Valley of Nashua, Roger F. Retzke – Valley of Portsmouth/Dover, Kenneth A. Masonic Trip to London, England - September 2010
Robert Fagge of the Valley of Brattleboro, Vt. is arranging a Masonic trip to London, England in September 2010. The invitation is for any and all Brother Masons (families and spouses) within the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. The United Grand Lodge of England has arranged for us to be hosted by them at a Lodge meeting Sept. 16 and 17, plus they are setting aside a special audience to tour the Freemason's Hall and Museum in London. They will also conduct a special reception - tea and crumpets, and all that! They will also host a Ladies dinner Saturday the 18 if our 'ladies' wish to attend. For decades, SRC's Abbott Scholarships have provided financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from Scottish Rite families and Masonic-related youth groups. This year's recipients for 2009-2010

 

LEARNING CENTERS
Dyslexia is a learning disability that is treatable. The 32º Masonic Learning Centers provide one-to-one tutoring during convenient after-school hours at no cost to student, family, school or insurance carrier. Most students complete the program in 2-3 years, having attained or closely approached peer-level reading ability. The tutors, primarily schoolteachers, are specialists in dyslexia remediation. more...
